Versiti believes that balancing work and non-work activities is essential to maintaining work life balance and overall wellbeing. Taking time off results in quality performance and a positive work environment.  Versiti understands these needs and strives to support our employees by providing Paid Time Off.

Full and part time employees earn PTO based on length of service and hours worked. You may use hours from your PTO bank to receive pay during time away from work due to vacation, personal time or illness.

For more information, access the Versiti Hourly PTO Policy and Salaried PTO Policy in the Versiti Beacon>Human Resources Department>Paid Time Off.

Note: eligible employees receive holiday benefits and begin accruing PTO upon hire.

Accrual begins Date of Hire

Accrual based on hours paid, up to 80 hours per pay period

Example of full-time accruals:

    • You work 80 hours per pay period (bi-weekly) = 80 * .06923 = 5.54 hours

Year-end carryover is limited to 40 hours

PTO in excess of 40 hours is forfeited at the end of the calendar year

PTO allowance for the calendar year is granted as of date of hire and January 1 each year, and is available to use immediately. This is considered an advance and the balance will be earned using accruals through the year.

Accrual begins Date of Hire and is based on job, years of service, and scheduled hours

Example of full and part-time accruals:

    • Scheduled hours are 36-40 hours weekly = 18 days PTO, which is earned at 2.77 hours per week
    • Scheduled hours are 30-35.99 hours weekly = 15 days PTO, which is earned at 2.31 hours per week
    • Scheduled hours are 20-29.99 hours weekly = 9 days PTO, which is earned at 1.39 hours per week

Any accrued PTO not used by the end of the calendar year will be forfeited
